K10 vs C2 Quad Core benchmarks.
I Am Thinking about having a benchmark contest between Barcilona Opteron and Core 2 Quad Xenon workstations. They will have 8GB of ram run Windows and Linux Benchmarks in 64 bit mode. All Configuration and Code will be open to the public.

K8L
K8L is going to be the nail in Intel's coffin. why? it is because k8 will be 80% faster than core 2, and Intel will have become dependant on selling its Pentium 4 invetory.

Intel is run by marketing
Intel's only strength is coming up brands. but that is there only strength. the reason for the digsine of the Pentium 4 was marketing wanted the higher and higher gigahertz numbers and it did not succeed at that.

AMD will tie INTEL because of vista
vista 64 bit will be tied because if you use 64 bit windows vista you will have a 30% advantage in speed because of the registers. core 2 duo does not do good in 64 bit.
Why Intel is evil
Intel is an evil company. just look at: skype, icc (intel c compiler), and BAPCO. lets start with skype skype had a 10 way conference call only on Intel Pentium d processors. skype was payed big bucks to make it work only with Intel processors. some versions of icc had deoptimised for amd boxes. BAPCO is an old scandal from 2002 it was designed to reduce apperant performance of Pentium III and Athlon K7, and increase performance of Intel NETWORST pentium 4's. Intel is an evil company just look at the facts: it needs to cheat.

Why AMD Will not go bankrupt anytime soon
AMD is not going bancrupt soon; because the econimy is doing good, and also AMD rules the server market. AMD will have K8L that will cream intel for 3 years at least. intel does not have: an IMC, HyperTransport, or 2 way desktops in the near future. in 2002 amd did not have the server market, intel released Northwood and because of its high clockspeads it did better in the marketplace. in 2003 intel released Pentium 4 emergancy edition wich was to crash the second most important event in amd history the launch of the athlon 64 and the FX51 wich is an opteron 100 series. it established AMD's lead in desktop computing for the next 3 years, and set up the current state of market share of intel.
1: the most important event was the opteron launch
